Chapter 15 - That Night

15.

Sutton’s eyes filled with tears as she lowered her face to kiss him and spoke against his lips. “I would love nothing more.”

Greysen slipped the ring onto her finger – a brilliant four-carat emerald cut on a platinum band – stood and kissed the tear from her cheek.

The kiss they’d begun earlier was a peck on the lips compared to the one they shared now. They kissed as if they’d drown inside each other’s mouths, like they could crawl into each other’s bodies and feel each other from the inside. The kiss grew so passionate they’d begun to rub their bodies against one another without thinking about it. When Sutton felt Greysen growing hard against her stomach she broke the kiss and looked around. No one was out and it was beginning to grow dark outside.

“I want you,” she whispered with a sly smile.

“Here?” he asked intrigued.

“Here.” Her voice dropped to a sultry growl.

Greysen looked around and grabbed her by the hand, leading her to a bench that sat behind a half wall on the side balcony. There was only one way in and it was partially covered. Greysen sat on the bench and pulled Sutton down on his lap. They immediately dove back into that kiss as Sutton’s hands reached down, unzipped Greysen’s jeans and pulled him hard and ready from his binding. Greysen slipped one hand between her legs, under her skirt, and pushed her panties to the side. With his other hand he held himself up as she slid herself onto him. They moaned simultaneously as she slowly glided down his rock-hard cock. Sutton rolled herself up, down, and around, over Greysen’s long and thick shaft. They embraced each other in that kiss, never releasing while making love right there on the boat as the stars began to blanket the sky.

Sutton was still on Greysen, though they’d both exploded in that warm body tingling gush, when they heard the first voices of people filling the observation deck again. They began an uncontrollable laughter as Sutton quickly slipped off his lap. They hurriedly tucked Greysen back into his pants before anyone noticed.

The boat came to a stop in the middle of the river as everyone piled onto the deck. As soon as the place was jam packed with people again, the first burst of fireworks lit up the clear night sky, showering down in a twinkling red luminosity. Fireworks began to explode in brilliant shades of red, white and blue, with the occasional green, pink or purple mixed in. The simultaneous explosions made the once dark night alive and popping with shimmering color like giant chrysanthemums hovering above the river for just a moment before they wilted and rained down to the radiantly reflective water below.

The quiet moments of just Sutton and Greysen’s heavy breathing were replaced quickly with the thunderous bangs of the release of each colossal, vibrantly twinkling explosion and the “oohs and ahhs” of the gathering of on-lookers surrounding the two lovers who were in their own world of never-ending bliss.

Sutton watched in amazement at the beautiful fireworks display of the “Dueling Barges” and how with each blaze of light in the sky it made Greysen’s eyes sparkle like never before. She turned to him, wrapped in his arms, and asked, “Did you know this was going to be happening tonight?”

Greysen smiled proudly and kissed her gently. “Yes.”

Sutton smiled back. “And you planned this?” She wiggled her fingers on her left hand, her dazzling diamond sparkling like the fireworks before them.

“Well, asking you to be mine forever deserved an immense celebration. Don’t you think?”
He chuckled and pulled her tighter to his body.

She laughed along with him and snuggled her face into his neck after placing a soft kiss to that savory smelling skin. “Yes, I do,” she whispered.

They sat on the bench that they’d made love on after Greysen’s unexpected proposal and watched the fireworks as if they were celebrating with them, just for them. Sutton had always known that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with this man whose strong arms she was wrapped in, no matter his name. There was a time in her life she thought that chance had been forever ripped away from her. Now, he was here, he was alive and he was hers, forever. She was determined that nothing would tear them apart again. No one would ever come between them; she’d fight for him with every last breath in her body.

The tears streamed silently down her cheeks; tears of remembrance, tears of the pain of loss she’d once suffered, tears of joy and relief, and tears of overwhelming love and devotion.

Once the fireworks display ended, the boat docked back at the Riverwalk. Sutton’s tears had dried up once she began thinking of the happiness Greysen had brought back into her life before he could see them. They hurried from the boat and moved at a fast paced-walk back to Sutton’s condo, both in the same mental state; ready and eager for more.

They stopped at the front entrance to her condo and Sutton looked down at her ring. “I can’t believe you did all of this and I had no idea. Have I ever told you how much I love you, how very amazing I think you are? When did you even get this ring?”

Greysen smiled watching her adore her ring. “I actually bought it after that first night…behind The House of Blues.”

She looked at up him in sheer surprise. “Really?”

“Sutton, I’ve always known I wanted to marry you. I saw the look in your eyes as I sang
that song to you and saw the love I’d once known from you, the love I knew I wanted, needed in my life again. Though I wasn’t sure you’d love me like this,” he waved a hand up and down in front of his body, “I bought it, ready for the first chance I got to make you mine forever.”

Sutton looked up at Greysen’s fantastical violet eyes and smiled. “I’ve always been yours, forever. And how could you think for even a moment that I wouldn’t love you like this?”
She looked his body up and down and smiled seductively.

Greysen chuckled. “Well, when we first ran into each other, the look you gave me was not quite…friendly? I guess I’d say.”

Sutton looked at him puzzled for a moment, thinking back to that night in the bar. She thought of seeing him on the side stage as she sang; of staring at him while he sang. She knew she wasn’t giving him the evil eye then – she was so mesmerized by his voice and his words that it’d brought tears to her eyes. He couldn’t have thought that look wasn’t friendly. Then it hit her and she laughed.

“Oohh…when I knocked over my guitar case and you got a free ticket to the peep show!”

Greysen threw his head back with a loud throaty laugh. “Yeah, you could say that,” he looked back down to her smiling face, “I must say, you make one hell of a first impression!”

Sutton couldn’t help but laugh with him, thinking about that moment. “You’d looked more startled than I was when I noticed what you were staring at, perv!”

“Hey! You put something like that in any man’s view and he’s gonna look, especially yours…Do you know how hard it was for me to not lean in and start licking your pussy right there on that bar stool?”

Sutton’s laughter subsided and she took a heavy breath and cleared her throat. “That would’ve been some hello. Did you know it was me…I mean, as you were staring between my legs or did you just like the view and then notice…”

“No, I knew it was you. I’d spotted you that first night, Friday night. I was so…shocked, I hate to admit, but that’s why I took off after I’d finished playing. You were the last person I’d expected to see walk into my life again that way and as you got closer to the stage…I just had this feeling like even though I knew you couldn’t see me, you felt the pull to me too.”

“I did,” she whispered as Greysen wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Well, I didn’t know what to say, how I was going to handle seeing you, talking to you after all that time, with everything I’d thought about you moving on with your life and there I was just as love struck as I was at sixteen…I was terrified and excited and, well, I just had to get out of there and get my head on straight.”

“I wish you would’ve stayed.”

“I came back and watched you play.”

Sutton smiled sweetly. “You did?”

“Of course I did.”

“Why didn’t you come talk to me then?”

Greysen shrugged and took a deep breath. “I…I just didn’t know how you were going to react to me and I needed to prepare myself…if things didn’t go the way I wanted them to. I knew you’d be back on Saturday, so when I walked in I looked around for you and saw you sitting there, absent mindedly tracing your finger around on the bar,” he lifted her hand and kissed it, “I actually looked for a ring on your finger first and when I didn’t see one I began walking over to you to talk to you. That’s when you turned and hit your case. I definitely wasn’t expecting to be looking straight into heaven when I followed your legs up.” He let out a small chuckle.

Sutton smiled coyly. “Yeah, you kinda took me by surprise too, so much so that I’d forgotten to close my legs when I saw you because you were so devastatingly gorgeous that I couldn’t breathe.”

“I’m glad you forgot!”

Sutton smacked him on the ass.

Greysen laughed out loud. “Oh, baby, do it again!”

She smacked him again, he moaned, and then they both laughed.

“So…if you thought I was ‘so devastatingly gorgeous’,” he rolled his eyes, “why’d you look at me like you wanted to kick me in the head?”

“Did I?” she asked curiously.

“You did. I mean, I was, of course, shocked and completely turned on looking at your silky red thong barely covering that beautiful piece of your body that I remembered so vividly…” He leaned his face just a touch closer to Sutton and traced her lips with his. “…and wanted to lean in and know again, so desperately.” He kissed her, a long soft glide of his tongue with hers and her breath came out in a shaky slow escape into his mouth.

Sutton unlocked the door they’d been standing in front of and they walked into the living room, still embracing each other in that kiss. Greysen kicked the door shut behind him and walked her to the sofa where he sat and Sutton sat on his lap, wrapping her legs tightly around his waist.

“So, then why didn’t you?” she asked when they broke that deep kiss.

“It took everything I had to not touch you, not kiss you, like I said, and I wanted to stay and talk to you…I’d planned on it, especially after that view. But when you slammed your legs shut and I looked up to your eyes, if you could’ve seen the look in your eyes…”

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry.”

“I didn’t mean to…I didn’t realize I was giving you that look. I was just so, startled by your eyes, I’d lost my breath. I didn’t want you to walk away, trust me, I tried to say something to you but you’d already walked away and then I stared at your fine ass and I really couldn’t speak.”

They laughed together and Greysen began tracing light circles over Sutton’s back.

“Well, after I saw the way you looked at me while I was performing I’d figured you didn’t completely hate me for sneaking a peek!”

“No, not at all. I actually had gotten ready that day…” Sutton paused and bit her lip.

Greysen placed a finger to her lip and traced it, coaxing it from her mouth. “What, my love?”

“Well, that first night I’d heard you sing…I knew I had to see you again. I’d asked Mr. Hebert if you were going to be back Saturday night,” Greysen smiled, “and I thought about you Friday night as I went to bed…I didn’t know what you looked like, but I was aching for your voice. I’d recognized your voice and I thought about you, Ethen, you know what I mean,” Greysen nodded, “and your voice. I thought about seeing your hands gliding over the strings on your guitar…” Sutton closed her eyes and inhaled a shaky, heavy breath. Her body broke out in goose bumps remembering that night.

Greysen rubbed her arms, and she opened her eyes, smiling beautifully at him.

“I got ready that day with the intentions of seeing you again…of doing more than just talking to you.”

“Really? From just my voice, huh?” Greysen’s voice came out in a tone of pure surprise.

Sutton dropped her face and turned her head to the side. Greysen placed his hand on her cheek and gently turned her back to face him, lifting her chin in the process.

“Don’t be embarrassed. I wanted the same thing.”

“Yeah, but you knew it was me. I had no idea who you were…But your voice has always affected me that way, you know that. I didn’t even know what you looked like and I thought of you touching me the way you touched your guitar. I thought of your hands on my body while I showered…”

Greysen placed his hands on the small of her back and pulled her closer to him. “And did you like it?”

Her chest was rising and falling in lusting breaths as she stared into his eyes and whispered, “Yes.”

“Then don’t be embarrassed. How long had it been since you were touched, kissed, or loved that way? Don’t be ashamed because someone finally did it for you, my love. I’m just lucky enough that it was me that did it for you again.”

“Me too. I’ve never wanted anyone else to touch me that way….Anyway, so looking at me while you sang you decided you were going to turn on the charm?”

Greysen chuckled and placed his hands on her back again, but went under her white tank top, tracing his fingers over her bare skin. “Well, I saw the way you reacted to me singing to you and I knew I had to get you alone, I had to at least try and see if you could want me again. So when you spoke to me I saw my opportunity and jumped on it.”

“Is that kiss what you had planned when you brought me out there because you knew it was my weakness?” Sutton leaned back a bit and gave him a little sideways glare and a smirk.

Greysen returned that smirk with his own devilish grin. “I’m not going to lie and say that I didn’t hope I’d get another look, but my main intention was just to be alone with you…to get close to you, to just touch you again. What happened was icing on a very delicious cake.”

Sutton smiled, leaned back into him and kissed his lips softly. “Uhmmm, yeah it was. I’m so glad you did. It was exactly what I wanted…I mean, I wanted to just touch you but you were such a tease.” She laughed lightly.

“Yeah….I know. I was testing my limits. Like I said, I knew you didn’t know who I was but I could tell you felt something, so that’s why I took my time approaching you, leaning into you. When my mouth was so close to yours that I could taste your breath,” Greysen’s eyes closed and he licked his lips, “I wanted to kiss you so badly.”

He opened his eyes and looked at Sutton as she said, “I wanted you to.”

“I knew you did.” He laughed and she smacked his chest. “What? I could tell you wanted me, Sutton. I’m not blind.”

She smiled. “But you didn’t.”

“I had all intentions to but when your knees gave out,” he smiled proudly, “and your waist was under my hands…it was like I lost all control over them. They instinctively wanted to roam your body and when I felt your skin…uhm, I needed an up close and personal view of what I was touching.”

“That’s why you dropped to your knees?”

“Yes, at the time I still hadn’t planned on doing what I did but when I got down there and started rubbing your thighs, feeling you twitch under my touch and when I felt your naked ass…Oh my God…that just did it for me. I couldn’t help myself. I needed to feel you in my mouth again; it’d been too long. You know eating your pussy was always my kryptonite.”

She smiled knowingly. “Yeah, it was wasn’t it? Though, my God, you are so much better at it now!” They laughed lightly together. Sutton’s hands that had been resting on Greysen’s shoulders began to move down his chest. “I must say, when you’d asked to kiss me, that wasn’t what I was expecting.” Her hands moved further down, to the bottom of his white t-shirt.

“I didn’t think you’d caught on to it when you let out that little shocked yelp and moan when I lifted your leg and pushed your panties to the side.”

Sutton ran her hands under Greysen’s shirt and started caressing his rippled abs. “You really took me by surprise and I was just so relieved that I’d prepared myself earlier that day.”

“I wouldn’t have cared if you were in granny panties and hadn’t shaved in a year,” Sutton giggled, “when my lips first touched you and felt you all warm and wet already…uhmm, you were so smooth, so much more luscious than my memories of you. I wanted to keep kissing you. I almost didn’t want you to come so I’d have had a reason to hold you there and just lick you.”

Greysen’s eyes fluttered as Sutton pinched his nipples between her fingers and leaned into his neck where she began kissing with lips and tongue.

Sutton whispered against his neck. “Oh, I wouldn’t have minded. You blew my mind with that kiss. It was so…well, I’m sure you could tell by my reaction to you that night, and now; you know what you do to me.”

He cleared his throat once and asked, “May I ask you something?”

“Anything.”

“When you thought about me in the shower that day…did you touch yourself?”

Sutton licked one long line up the front of his neck, over his chin, until she got to his lips. “Yes,” she whispered into his mouth as they stared into each other’s eyes.

He breathed a shaky moan. “So did I.”

“Really?”

“Oh yeah, I thought about you all Friday night and the next day before I left to see you
again and I couldn’t help it. You’ve always had that affect on me, even while we were apart. I masturbated to memories of you almost every night for nearly eight years.”

Sutton pressed her lips to his and he parted them with his tongue as he began to kiss her.
“Really? And what affect do I have on you now?” she asked in a sultry whisper.

She looked into Greysen’s eyes which suddenly began to glow amethyst and she knew where all that blood was gathering now. No sooner did she ask the words, she felt that rush of blood forming a mouth-watering swell between her legs.

“Does that answer your question?” Greysen asked with a sexy smirk.

“Uhm, yeah but I think I need to see it to get the full effect.” Sutton began to unbutton
his pants as she hungrily kissed down his neck.

“Anything you wish, my love.”
